2020 Cancelled Fair & Horse Shows Information Below is a list of Kentucky County Fair and Horse Shows that have cancelled due to the Covid-19 virus.This list was started on May 8, 2020.Some Fairs may have only cancelled their main week of event and plan to hold events such as Live Stock Show, Pageants and Floral Hall at a later date.Please. A State Fair organized by Kentucky Exposition Center. This Kentucky State Fair will have fine craft, crafts, flea market and commercial/retail exhibitors, and tba food booths. There will be 6 stages with National, Regional and Local talent and the hours will be All Days 7am-12 midnight. Admission tickets are $4 - $10. Craft Fairs and Vendors Kentucky has 2,721 members. This group is for you to advertise your craft fairs, wedding fairs and markets, and your vendor businesses in Kentucky. Shows and Fairs The Kentucky State Aid to Local Agricultural Fairs Program came into being in 1962, created by an act of the General Assembly. The program is designed to promote local agricultural fairs through grants of State funds. The Fair brings the fun with new entertainment venues and experiences like Bluegrass Village and AgLand. Also posing nine stages, over 8 tents filled with food and tunes and more than 100 shows for every age, including the Texas Roadhouse Concert Series.

The Kentucky State Aid to Local Agricultural Fairs Program came into being in 1962, created by an act of the General Assembly. The program is designed to promote local agricultural fairs through grants of State funds. The Commissioner of Agriculture has charge of the Aid to Fairs Program, and it is administered by the Department of Agriculture's Division of Shows and Fairs.

The Commissioner is advised on matters concerning administration of the program by the Kentucky Fair Council, a group composed of various government and agricultural leaders.

Grants made to local agricultural fairs through the program are calculated on a matching funds basis with each dollar of State funds being matched with funds from the local area. The amount of any grant is based on the amount spent by the local fair board in the four qualifying areas listed in the grant section.
