Default permissions are viewable by typing either /resident for personal plot perms or by typing /town for town permissions. As of Towny 0.95.1.0 there is an added Perm Group for plots, personally-owned plots have a Town group & town-owned plots have a Nation group. Plots have their own permissions. Using these permissions you can make everyone have access to build or allow an allied town access to chests. Permissions can be a bit finnicky so checking them every once in a while is a good habit. To easily see which plot has which permissions use the following command to get an easy overview on your screen.

General Nodes

Plots Permissions
  • playerplot.* : grants all Player Plot permissions
  • playerplot.access : grants access to all player's plots
  • playerplot.loot : grants access to /plotdeed
  • playerplot.teleport : grants access to teleportation commands
  • playerplot.update : grants access to /playerplot update
  • playerplot.reload : grants access to /playerplot reload
  • playerplot.write : grants access to /writedeed (default true)

Admin Nodes

  • playerplot.admin.* : grants all player plot permissions
  • playerplot.admin.view : grants access to /allplots
  • playerplot.admin.delete : grants access to plot deletion commands

Override Nodes

  • plot.bonus.[integer] : grants extra plots
  • plot.cap.[integer] : overrides the default plot limit
